Welcome to She Grows Freely. I am so glad you found me! I’d like to tell you about my story. I am an introverted and clumsy person who is obsessed with her dog (I will literally cancel all my plans for him). I am a huge bookworm, and I love music.

I started a blog in 2016, but I started it when I didn’t know who I was as a person. I was still discovering my own niche and aesthetic. I ended up taking a break from blogging and started a journey of self-discovery where I took the challenge to face my trials and tribulations head-on. I began blogging again as a hobby in July of 2025. I quickly learned that my peers enjoyed my stories and the fact that they were human and relatable.

She Grows Freely was born out of a time when I became lost as a person. I became consumed with working and event planning that I forgot who I was outside of those areas. Once work slowed down and the event planning finally ended, I hit rock bottom. I had worked and planned an event for an entire year that I did not remember who I was without these aspects, and they are gone. I became lost about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and lost sight of my future. I was going through the motions while quietly keeping it all inside. I began to focus on myself and how I can improve this problem.

She Grows Freely is a space where I’ll share what I have learned, what I am still learning, and what I have experienced while trying to navigate self-discovery, mental wellness, relationships, and all the in-between moments that make us who we are. These stories are authentic to my own personal experiences and how I faced those challenges head-on. Everyone’s challenges are unique to their life, but that does not mean you are alone. Let’s grow freely together!

I created a page called “Creative Writing”. As much as I love writing, I love creating fictional short stories for fun! Check out my stories. You could even send me a creative writing prompt, and maybe the story will appear on my website!
